1. About Us

Rubik Express LTD provides courier and light haulage services to businesses and private customers across the United Kingdom.

2. Quotations

All quotations are based on the information provided by the customer, including collection and delivery addresses, the type of goods, their size and weight, and any special handling requirements.

If the information provided changes, the quotation may need to be revised. A quotation does not constitute a confirmed booking until Rubik Express LTD has accepted the job and confirmed the booking with the customer.

3. Bookings

Customers must provide accurate contact details, collection and delivery addresses, access information and delivery instructions.

Collection and delivery times will be agreed during the booking process. Although Rubik Express LTD will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed times, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, road closures or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

4. Goods and Packaging

Customers are responsible for ensuring that goods are appropriately packaged and ready for collection, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Customers must inform Rubik Express LTD of any fragile, unusually heavy, oversized or hazardous items before the booking is confirmed.

Rubik Express LTD reserves the right to refuse goods that cannot be transported safely or that fall outside the agreed service.

5. Collection, Delivery and Waiting Time

Customers must ensure that goods are accessible and ready for collection at the agreed time. Where required, someone must be available to hand over or receive the goods.

The first 30 minutes of waiting time at each relevant collection or delivery location will be free of charge.

After the first 30 minutes, additional waiting time will be charged at £20 per hour. The charge will be calculated proportionately according to the additional waiting time.

Additional handling, carrying, access difficulties or changes to the agreed service may also result in additional charges. These will be discussed with the customer in advance wherever reasonably possible.

6. Cancellations and Changes

Customers should contact Rubik Express LTD as soon as possible if they need to cancel or change a booking.

Bookings may be cancelled free of charge before the driver has departed for the collection.

If a cancellation is requested after the driver has departed, the customer may be charged for reasonable costs already incurred as a result of the cancellation, such as the driver's journey to the collection location. Any applicable charges will be explained to the customer.

Changes to collection addresses, delivery addresses, goods or service requirements may require a revised quotation.

7. Payment

The agreed price, payment method and payment deadline will depend on the customer and the individual job.

All applicable payment terms will be communicated and agreed before the booking is confirmed.

Customers must pay any agreed charges in accordance with the confirmed payment terms.

8. Liability and Insurance

Rubik Express LTD will provide its services with reasonable care and skill and will handle goods with reasonable care.

Liability for loss of or damage to goods will be assessed in accordance with applicable law, the agreed booking terms and the relevant insurance arrangements.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Customers should notify Rubik Express LTD as soon as reasonably possible if they identify any loss, damage or delivery issue.

9. Complaints

If you have a concern about a collection, delivery or any other aspect of our service, please contact Rubik Express LTD using the contact details published on our website.

We will review the matter and aim to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.

10. Privacy

Personal information provided when requesting a quotation or booking a service will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

Rubik Express LTD may update these terms from time to time.

The terms applicable to an individual booking will be those provided to or agreed with the customer for that booking, subject to applicable law.
